Winter 2024 concert (December 6, 7 and 8) ~ Spirits of Yule ~ Please join us for one of our most unusual December programs ever! The Upper Valley Voices presents “Spirits of Yule.” Every song is dedicated to singing about the magical and mystical beings associated with the holiday. We will be singing music from all across the globe, from an incredibly wide stretch of time and musical style, lots of languages. There will be some pieces you had no idea existed and others that are old favorites. We swing from the ridiculous and silly right into the deep and moving and back. We are having so much fun working on this program that we cannot wait to share it with you. Join us to start your holiday season on a positive note!

The Upper Valley Voices (formerly the Thetford Chamber Singers) is a diverse group of approximately 25 singers drawn together by the joy of singing and a commitment to bringing good music from a variety of traditions to the community.  

We perform two series of concerts each season: a Winter concert in early December and a Spring Concert of sacred and secular music in early May. Our concerts are especially noteworthy for the wide variety of musical styles from various traditions, beautifully woven together with poetry and quotations to create an integrated musical, cultural and spiritual experience.
