Announcing our Spring 2025 Concerts
Standing Strong
To be born into this world is to know hardship, uncertainty, pain, and trial. It’s tough to be alive on earth! It is also beautiful and glorious.
The Upper Valley Voices presents "Standing Strong" on June 7th and 8th.
This amazing collection of songs explores how fear confronts us as we move through our lives, but more importantly how fear reminds us that we have ways to recognize, neutralize, and even utilize its force to empower ourselves and improve our lives. As always, we are presenting an eclectic mix of music: a variety of styles, languages, and origins that will move you, offer aid to those who need it, and remind us that the world is a better place when we choose to stand together. Please join us!

The Upper Valley Voices (formerly the Thetford Chamber Singers) is a diverse group of approximately 25 singers drawn together by the joy of singing and a commitment to bringing good music from a variety of traditions to the community.
We perform two series of concerts each season: a Winter concert in early December and a Spring Concert of sacred and secular music in early May. Our concerts are especially noteworthy for the wide variety of musical styles from various traditions, beautifully woven together with poetry and quotations to create an integrated musical, cultural and spiritual experience.
In addition to ticket sales, the Upper Valley Voices relies on the generous support of friends and audience members to help present its concerts and to commission new works. Click here to learn about making a donation.
